Backyard Chix Hatchery is a first generation business and farm. Taylor McCarty had the goal of selling eggs to her neighbors as a side job at the age of 15. That goal quickly turned into a dream to sell the best quality chicks to feed stores and individuals. At only 4 years of progress, the hatchery now sells around 15 different varieties of birds to people like you.

The best thing about Backyard Chix is not only the top of the line breeds, but the personal connection Taylor tries to make with each of her buyers. She will meet up with and sell the chicks face to face with people that are as far as 4 hours away from her.

Another unique thing about Backyard Chix is if we don’t have the birds that are best for you, we will happily get some eggs from a trusted farmer and hatch them for you at a very reasonable price.
